Pride of the Valley 5k
This flat fast course is the site of a competition between club and high school teams. Last year we won several age group medals as well as the second place team award for boys. The race starts at 8:00 AM, but anyone who arrives after 7:00 AM will have difficulty finding parking.

About the event
Your GPS might suggest taking the exit 605 onto Arrowhead Hwy. However, you should avoid this route because your GPS doesn't account for the major road closures between Arrowhead Hwy and the Baldwin Park Recreation Center due to the race. Instead, take the exit onto Ramona Blvd and follow it to the Recreation Center. Arriving before 7:00 AM may allow you to find parking near the Recreation Center. If you arrive later, you'll need to drop off your athlete and search for parking elsewhere in the city.
